Ian Anderson House
Ian Anderson House is Ontario’s first in-resident cancer hospice and offers, without charge, quality end-of-life palliative care by trained medical professionals to those who cannot be given the necessary round-the-clock care in their own homes. The House is designed to create a homelike and safe environment where residents diagnosed with terminal cancer and a limited life expectancy receive round-the-clock care. Their focus is on quality of life with an emphasis on maintaining the independence and respecting the dignity of residents. True to hospice philosophy, Ian Anderson House also understands the need to support the family as a unit.

On behalf of the members of the Board and all at Ian Anderson House, I wish to express our sincere thanks for your generous donation of $17,100 made to our hospice. The staff and volunteers enjoyed meeting you and hearing more about the good work that "100 Guys Who Care Oakville" does to support local charities like ours. True to the philosophy of hospice, we offer care to our residents without charge. In order to continue to provide the kind of care and caring we all deserve at the end of our lives, we rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations just like yours. Again, from all at our “House”, our sincere thanks to all of “the Guys”.
