Recipient Charity & Final Tally

Congratulations to the Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children for being the Recipient Charity! Together, we raised $17,500 - our largest donation ever! And the amazing thing is that the AMARNA Foundation, a Lead Sponsor of Lighthouse, has agreed to match our group donation, for a total fundraising of $35,000! Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children is a registered charity providing peer support groups for grieving children, youth and their families in the Halton and Peel area. Bereaved children, experiencing a major crisis changing the fundamental structure of their family unit, find a community of understanding and support at the Lighthouse. They provide empathy, create trust, build courage and motivation. It was great to come out and meet some of the staff, learn more about this great organization, and see the construction of their future home. We'll be sure to get some of the staff out to our next event to meet all the guys and give us an update.

Thanks to a Great Group of Guys!

Our Q2/16 Event was another phenomenal success! It was great to have Carm Bozzo come out and tell us about Halton Women's Place and how they used our group donation from our last event. A huge thanks goes out to Porsche Centre Oakville for providing us with an awesome venue, delicious appetizers and beverages. Also a special thanks to our volunteers, including Andrew Sue-A-Quan, Mel Hum and Rob Ruso for holding down the registration desk. Feedback & Volunteers Welcome

We welcome your feedback - please email us with any suggestions you may have.

We are always looking for new sponsors, venues and volunteers for future events. Specifically, we are looking for photographers (amateur members are more than welcome!) to cover one of our events and beverage sponsors to pick up the bar tab at one of our upcoming events.

Spread the Word & Stay Connected

Let's keep the momentum going. Please continue to spread the word to your friends, neighbours and colleagues. Our group is not limited to 100 guys or Oakville. We want to focus on Halton based charities and are happy to welcome guys from Burlington, Brampton and Milton. Let's see how big we can get, and how much of an impact we can make in our local communities.

If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining us, please make sure you sign up with all your contact info here so we can add you to our mailing list. You can also follow us on social media for more updates.

Stay tuned for details of our next event ...
